Qucik Update
Hey everyone, I will give a bigger update in a few days but we are just on high alert over at our house right now. You see, Squirt is in what the vet calls, his ” danger days”. This is how it goes. In the three days L was sick, squirt was introduced to the virus. Although he is vaccinated, it may still hit him, just not as hard. It takes 2 weeks for the virus to fester in his body and then ater those 2 weeks, the three days after those 2 weeks are the ” danger days”. These are the days that, if he does have any strength of parvo he cannot fight, it will present itself now. We are currently on day 2 with no symptoms whatsoever. Day 1 was a breeze. Just in case, we are having someone babysit him while we have to be out and leaving a credit card number, vet’s number etc in case he gets really bad.
Anyhowl, thank you everyone for your condolences on the loss of L. Her owner really appreciated it.
Squirt has been going nuts in the house! We haven’t taken him on walks or anything in fear or possibly spreading it to other dogs, so he took it out on mommy’s pillows.
He ripped the pillow case open and eventually go through to the good stuff. We did buy him a cheap rope to occupy his time, and if needed, will throw it away.
The vet said to watch for Squirt if he starts being lethargic , how do you tell with a lazy sleep-all-day puggle? ![]()
We are trying to keep the thoughts positive over here and I will update in the next few days hat is going on ![]()
Wags and kisses,
